Kutztown University once again dominated the field winning the final 21-5 over the Naval Academy this past Saturday May 16, 2015 on a beautiful day in Alapocas Run State Park just outside the City of Wilmington, Del.
The NSCRO Women’s National 7s Championship will be held in conjunction with the ACRA Women's 7s National Championship, on 2-3 May 2015 at the US Military Academy in West Point, NY. All of the games on Field 1 will be live-streamed via YouTube beginning at 9:00 AM EDT on Saturday.
The Norwich University Rugby Club held the second annual Chris Munn 7’s Tournament on April 26, 2015. Middlebury College defeated the Norwich men 17-15 in the Final. The Norwich men's B team won the second side pool with a 22-19 win over New Hampshire B. In the women’s final, Norwich beat American International College 26-17.
URugby Sevens Virginia Beach featured 23 teams from across the country competing for the American Collegiate Rugby Championship Sevens. The two-day tournament offered an early-season opportunity for men’s and women’s college teams to play sevens rugby against elite competition in a high-profile, professional setting.
In the final leg of a three-stop tour, the Keystone Sevens series rolled into Rutgers on April 18, where host Scarlet Knights pulled out a Plate Final win over Millersville (20-14). The Cup final was an all-Philly affair, however, as the Hawks of St. Joes defeated Temple in a close-fought match by a score of 19-14.
