The days are winding down and the USA Islanders' inagural match with the Saracens in Bermuda is only 10 days away!

Islanders are Ready to Take the Pitch

With the game being 10 days away, the Islanders are beginning to prepare for their challenging open match with the world renowned Saracens in Bermuda at the Bermuda National Sport Centre. The USA Islanders will be coached by Vahafolau Esikia, who played for the USA Eagles National Team during the 2007 Rugby World Cup. Known better as "Vaha" by his fans, he currently resides in Las Vegas, NV and is the current President and Director of Operations for the Las Vegas Academy. He will also been helped out by assistant coach Andrew "Tui" Osbourne, who is the current head coach for the St. Bonaventure's University Rugby Club. Before being the head coach for the Bonnies, Tui played and coached at Life University.

The players of the USA Islanders all reside in the Atlantic and Pacific Islands. These player are also eligable to try out for the USA National Team. Some have even played for the Eagles, such as Olive Kilifi who took on the All Blacks in November of 2014 at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois. Others have participated with the USA 7s team, such as Matai Leuta. Others have played at some of the best colleges in United States. Colton Cariaga spent his college days playing for Life University and now serves as the head coach of the team.

Bermuda has so much to offer including many different beaches, sight seeing locations, and many other attractions. People really enjoy cliff diving off the clearnce cove, spend a day at Bermuda's National Museum, and take a tour through the Crystal Caves of Bermuda. With so much to do in Bermuda, there is no reason to not spend a couple extra days on the beautiful island!

USA Islanders Jerseys Available for a Limited Time

For a limited time, URugby will be selling the Official USA Islanders' Jersey to commemorate their inaugural match against the Saracens! The Jerseys consist of the primary logo and will also consist of Red, White, and Blue to represent the United States.
